Mobility Services Tram Policy
SAS will provide tram service to eligible students. In order to be eligible, students
must have a verified disabling condition that limits their mobility. The tram service
is limited to transporting eligible students to and from their classes and related
educational activities. This service must be pre-approved by a SAS Counselor or the
SAS Director and documented in the student’s SAS file. Only eligible SAS students
who are pre-approved are allowed to ride on the tram.
Eligible students must complete, sign and submit a Mobility Services Request Form (attached) to the SAS Office prior to receiving this service. The pick-up and drop off times requested by students are not guaranteed and may be adjusted by SAS staff depending on the demand for tram service.
Pre-scheduled tram service takes priority over same day requests. Therefore, same day requests made by phone or walk-in may experience delays.
Tram service will operate from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday
from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
